Will the slider piece fall out?

Not a chance. The moving piece isn't just glued on; it's mechanically locked into the track with a 'T-shaped' stud from the back. It can move freely along the path, but it cannot be pulled out.

Can the track be curved?

We strongly recommend straight tracks (linear motion) for the smoothest action. While slight curves are possible, they often cause the slider to stick or jam. A straight path guarantees that satisfying 'glide' feel.

Will it scratch the paint underneath?

Any metal-on-metal movement creates slight friction over time. However, we engineer a tiny gap (clearance) between the slider and the base to minimize contact. We also recommend using hard enamel , which is much more scratch-resistant than soft enamel.

How long can the track be?

Usually, a track length of 10mm to 20mm is perfect. If the track is too long, the pin becomes huge and heavy. Short, snappy movements are usually more effective for storytelling.

Can I do vertical sliders?

Absolutely. Vertical sliders are great for things like a rocket taking off, a flower growing, or a character popping up from behind an object. Gravity will naturally pull it down, so keep that in mind for the design.
